Ralph has been helping people pursue their financial and retirement goals and dreams since 1987. As the founder

and president of FIREproof Wealth Management, he’s committed to providing solutions to fit each client’s unique

situation and helping them prepare for the future.

 

Ralph has a broad background in financial services, having started with Combined Insurance Company and later

Prudential Insurance. He also served as comptroller for Florida-based Hi-Tech Marketing, overseeing its finance and

insurance division. After helping build First Insurance Enterprises in West Michigan, he was inspired to create

FIREproof Wealth Management. He holds the Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC®) and Certified

Financial Fiduciary (CFF®) designations.

 

His motto: “Integrity, accuracy and appropriateness in recommendations isn’t the Gold Standard, it’s the ONLY

standard.”

Ralph strives to help clients understand that a collection of savings and investment accounts aren’t a retirement

plan; they are simply the components to fund that plan. At FIREproof Wealth Management, he and his team help

clients create a comprehensive financial strategy designed to last.

 

Ralph and his wife, Kay, have been married for more than 22 years and have two beautiful daughters, Nevada and

Hope. They attend Ada Bible Church, where Ralph leads a men’s small group study. In his free time, Ralph enjoys

hunting, fishing, camping and shooting sports. He and his family built a home on their property for Kay’s parents,

and Ralph says that experience has taught him the importance of planning for all aspects of retirement.
